Followings are the Assembly Line for Cylindrical Cell Manufacturing:

1. Sample Preparation

Procedure	Process Flow	Recommend Equipment
Slurry Preparation	Furnace to sinter raw active material (Cathode & Anode)
	Milling Machine to mill material to smaller particles
	Mixer to mix active, conductive and binder material into paste within vacuum
Coating and Drying	Coater to coat paste onto current collector; attach heater to dry
Calendering	Rolling Press (Calendar) to roll the electrode to proper thickness

2. Cell Assembly

Process Flow	Recommend Equipment
Slitting Machine to slit electrode sheet to strip
Vacuum Oven: remove any moisture within the cell
Ultrasonic Welding Machine: joining of multi-layer electrodes, and/or tabs to collectors
Winding Machine: form layers of Anode, Separator, and Cathode into a cell core

3. Case Formation and Sealing

Process Flow	Recommend Equipment
Spot Welding Machine: allow contact to be made from cell to bottom of case(grounding)
Grooving Machine: creat indent on the neck of case to allow for proper seal (after inserting the cell core)
Welding Machine: attach cell to cap (positive)
Electrolyte Filling: inject the case with electrolyte within Glove Box
Electrolyte Diffusion & Degassing Chamber for Profession Li-ion Battery Research
Sealing Machine (Crimper): align cap with the open end of case and seal case inside Glove Box under suitable environment

4. Battery Analyze

Process Flow	Recommend Equipment
Battery Analyzer: charge/discharge the assembled battery for cell activation and Battery Analyzer to test the battery's performance
